I Created a Social Media Page, Now What?
You did it, you created the page! You chose a handle, wrote a short bio, posted a couple of times, and then your momentum stalled. If you're staring at your social media profile wondering what to post next, whether you're even "allowed" to share a client's photo or story, and which tools are actually worth your time, this workshop is for you.
Eboni Hooper-Baoteng is a certified doula, lactation consultant (CLC), maternal support practitioner, and childbirth educator based in St. Louis, MO, and the founder of Birthing You Doula Services. She's grown Birthing You into an engaged online community, using education-forward content and real birth stories to build trust with families before they ever book a consultation. Her work drew the attention of the former U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy's office and St. Louis Public Radio. A mother of three and Community Doula of the Year at the Doula Lab, Eboni brings both deep clinical expertise and hands-on social media experience to this workshop.
Over our hour together, we'll explore:
- Practical action items to market your practice with consistency,
- How to get informed consent from clients before sharing their story or photos,
- Tools and templates that make your marketing work for you,
- How to turn client wins and everyday moments in your practice into content without oversharing,
- And how to know if your posts are actually reaching and converting the families who need you!
