Ibura DeHaan

Hi! My name is Ibura (pronounced ee-bor-ah). I’m located in St. Louis, MO and I am passionate about reproductive justice. I have been practicing as a doula since 2022 and have supported a variety of birth experiences. My middle name is Ayele (pronounced ah-yea-lay), which means “Powerful” in Amharic. I created Ayele Doula Care to show my clients throughout their birthing journeys just how powerful they are. I will provide you with compassionate, empathetic, non- judgmental, and culturally competent doula support. My role is to provide you with the knowledge and support you need to advocate for the birth you desire. It takes a village to raise a child, and a village to support a birthing person and their growing family. I will support you and your family in identifying the areas where support is needed most throughout pregnancy, birth and postpartum. My goal is to help you create the network of care and support that you deserve as a parent.
