Taylor Jackson

Taylor Jackson, LCSW, CD is a licensed clinical social worker, certified doula, and founder of The Wellness Center, where she provides therapy, consultation, and training centered on Black maternal mental health and culturally responsive care. Her work focuses on the intersection of trauma, interpersonal violence, and the systemic factors that shape outcomes for Black women and birthing people. Taylor has experience across clinical, academic, and community-based settings, including perinatal mental health programs and healthcare systems. She integrates evidence-based practices with a culturally attuned, healing-centered approach that prioritizes safety, visibility, and dignity in care. As a speaker and consultant, Taylor facilitates conversations that help organizations and providers examine how systems influence assessment, interpretation, and response. Her work equips professionals with practical strategies to better support the mental health and safety of Black women and families.
